Great way to see the difference between the concept and the production. I was trying to figure out what was bugging me and now looking at them side by side I think it is the change in the glass. It does take away a lot of the cars sleek look and puts in more in line with the CRX of old. I wonder if that was done by design or if there was some safty reason they did not want the smaller side windows. Also with the A pillar no longer swept backwards that only lends to the "stubby" look even more.

Glad to be here, I had to take some time off, not much was happening.
I joined a new truck forum as I traded in the '05 Titan for a '09 Frontier, my annual sporting roadster run with 130 cars happened, and I joined a new motorcycle forum as I'm in the market for a 2000 VFR; me been busy...

Yeh I completely agree with you. I don't like the fact that the back window is tinted darker than the front to hide the substantially reduced size of the actual window It tries to to maintain the lines but the black glass breaks up the line anyway.

Also, doesn't it look an awful lot more like the Insight now? Sort of a bummer.

Yes it does look more like the CRX now, of course for those of us that liked the concept better that is not always a good thing.

^^

Its probably my eyes.....but while the styling is similar to the Insight, it reminds me of the track screamer CRX and not the people-hauler Insight, but thats just me
