I live where it snows quite a bit and it would be nice to have the car already on and to start warming before I get in it during the winter. I dont enjoy getting into a car at -10 degrees. Also it is not about "need" so much as "want". If I got what I needed I would own a KIA.

^^ I get it. Plenty of snow in Upstate NY as well. Too bad my Si does not have the remote start option which is a dealer installed accessory or the heated side mirrors (available in Canadian Civic Si's). I'm not a happy camper when I need to go out start my car and have to scrape the ice off before heading out to work in the AM. Dont know if Honda offers that as standard on any of their cars.

The Insight has it as an option now so I would hope to see it on the CRZ, you can always add it after market.

Honda wouldn't put a remote start in a manual car. There's just too much liability.

^^ that is true. How about it if this remote start only worked when the car is in neutral and the parking brake is engaged

Well it looks like we can count on a 6-speed manual according to the info coming out from the Tokyo show

^^ did they say that. I must have missed it. I was under the impression it would be a 5-speed. This is exciting
