Has anyone ever tried using a clay bar with their car? I used to do it quite regularly during the warmer months when I had the RSX and it worked great! It takes a long time, but it makes your finish smooooth like butta. Yes It's also good at removing the bugs caked onto the front of the car.

I use it on my Si. It is recommended to only do this once or twice each driving season so as not to scratch the clear coat. Claybar is immediately followed up with a coat of wax and then another 2-3 coats every 24 hours.

Whoa! Followed up with another 2-3 coats!  Shocked That's a lot of work! I only used a clay bar followed by ONE wax in the spring and one again in the fall. It would take me all day each time!

and you also get a lot of grief from your spouse/girlfriend for spending so much time in the garage.

But the 2nd and 3rd coat of wax dont take as long as the initial detail which can take at least half a day Sad
